Tample Project_Furniture Design

 

This artwork is one of the projects I completed at Studio Qiao, and was exhibited at the 2013 Taiwan Designers’ Week. It showcased Taiwan’s traditional temple features like the bright fortune lamp and caisson ceiling, represented by symbols applied on the furniture and lamps to show the unique culture of Taiwan’s temples.

 

此作品是在竅門設計事務所時執行完成的專案之一，作品同時於2013台灣設計師週展出，其概念是將台灣傳統寺廟的議題包括光明燈、寺廟藻井等鮮明的特色符號轉化並應用在家具及燈具上，凸顯台灣文化特有的廟宇文化。
