Hybrid-X_Yacht Concept Design 

 

Since an amphibious vessel can be both a vehicle and ship, its main design concept lies in its ability to move quickly in water and on land. Taking into account it shall be able to reduce force in the water and air, the vehicle is designed with its main part combining the features of a catamaran with the streamline performance of a sports car. In terms of power, the transmission of many existing amphibious vessels is designed to fold up tires or directly maintain the status quo, while the frequent switching of modes could cause failure or affect the speed of travel. 

 

The transmission concept is to make the tires one of the power installations in the water. Tires not only are normally used on the road, but also can transform and stretch under water. Their function is similar to the physical effect of “paddles”, which is a constant whipping rotation in the water to make the vessel advance. This kind of design can make the exterior complete and highlight the driving function of the transmission without disrupting smooth travel and overall performance. 

 

水陸兩用船挺是車輛也是船隻，設計概念以能在水中和陸地快速移動為核心理念。考量到外型皆要符合降低水阻力和風阻力，故以雙體船混合路上跑車流線動感為主要形體；在動力方面，很多現有的水陸兩用船艇針對傳動部分大多是將輪胎收起或是直接維持原狀，這當中如果頻繁切換模式時可能會造成故障或影響到行進的速度。

 

所以在傳動設計部份概念為將輪胎也當作是在水中行進的動力裝置之一，在陸地上可以正常的行駛，而切換到水上模式則可變形張開，其功能類似於「槳片」的物理作用一樣，藉由不斷的旋轉拍打水面達到前進的目的，其設計能達到外型上的完整且使得傳動設備更能凸顯傳動的功能而不會破壞到整體行進的流暢性。
